There are three primary methods of attaching the Magic Link to your dog:
- Collar/Harness - Attach the clip to a D-Ring on any collar or harness as you would a conventional leash
- Magic Link Fixed Loop - Adjust the distance between the clip and the sliding lower D-Ring so that you can loop the end of the Magic Link like a collar around your dog’s neck, and hook the clip to the Magic Link’s lower D-Ring
- Magic Link Free Loop - Adjust the distance between the clip and the lower D-Ring so that you can loop the end of the Magic Link like a collar around your dog’s neck, and hook the clip to the Magic Link’s rope just above the lower D-Ring.
Yes, you can loop material through the lower D-Ring to shorten the Magic Link and/or use it as a hand lead (either looping your wrist through the length of rope threaded through the lower D-ring or by holding the lower D-ring between your index finger and thumb).
Yes, to tighten the loop around your waist, chest, or wrist - position the human Magic Link loop as desired and slide the upper (waste bag holder) D-Ring along the length of the double rope.

If your dog enjoys an easy stroll around the block or a run in the park while staying at your side, this is the leash for them! Please keep in mind we do not recommend this leash for dogs that are prone to pulling and/or chewing.
The Magic Link is not recommended for chewers.
The Magic Link is not specifically designed for pullers and does not specifically incorporate shock-absorption features. However, when used in conjunction with an anti-pull harness, the Magic Link’s hand lead/lower D-Ring can help minimize pulling.

Ok first the review. This leash is expensive but it’s all custom and really well thought out. The instructions are terrible though so read this to get the most out of the leash.
This leash NEVER gets caught under my dogs paws. I think it’s the stiffness of the lead and the way you wear it. It’s a small dog problem ifkyk.
First it’s really designed to be worn over the shoulder.
The boop bag holder loops on the two stranded slider. They were definitely designed as a pair. The clip grip is smooth so use the pad of your thumb for grip. You can use the lower slider as a temporary handle to pull your dog closer. Or clip the lead to the loop when you’re at the dog park to avoid tripping. I also use that ring to hang the leash on a hook. I have no idea what the rubber ring does but it looks cool and important.

Even season dog owner friends had never seen such an indestructible leash. Love the cross body aspect for when I’m holding coffee/umbrella (PNW problems) and my phone while walking my pup. My six-year-old can even make the cross body fit for her kid frame. While Kobe is still a puppy (Aussie labradoodle), he will grow nicely into the thickness of the leash (he will top out at 45 lbs and he’s 15 now).

So there’s definitely things I love about this leash. The way I can wear it hands free and the material of the leash itself is great. The problem lies with the clasp. It’s constantly getting stuck and won’t open until I pry it open with a knife which is not fun and I expect much better from such a ridiculously priced dog leash. This issue makes me not even want to use it because it’s a whole process to get the clasp open to attach it to my dogs collar. No matter how much I try to clean it and pry it open it still has this issue. Very disappointing
